- Stop at a Fruit Stand to see all the different fruit available
- Buy cashew nuts, fresh mangoes or papaya
- If you´d like to taste the fruit right there, ask the seller to wash it and cut if in front of you
- Stop at the Tarcoles River Bridge to see dozens of crocodiles. Some of them are more than 4 meters long
- Watch for Scarlet Macaws on the side of the road or flying above you
- Carara National Park is a recommended stop to see Transition forest between the Dry Forest in the north and the Rain Forest in the south. Some trails in Carara are accessible by wheelchair, and very flat
